This is called the Axumin PET (aka Flucicolvine PET) and is approved to find the location of recurrent prostate cancer. These scans enable physicians to offer personlized, directed therapy that can sometimes give a second change of a cure for in men with recurrent prostate cancer. These specialized scans are a cornerstone for assessing recurrent porstate cancer. Based on these advanced imaging, our physicians can offer personalized radiation for men with recurrent prostate cancer.
