Breast Cancer

About Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide. In the United States, there are about 180,000 cases diagnosed annually and an estimated 2.4 million women living with and surviving breast cancer. Fortunately, breast cancer mortality – after rising for decades – seems to have stabilized and is even falling, suggesting that we are making some important progress with this disease. Breast cancer is treatable and often curable.
