About Lung Cancer
Lung cancer has been the deadliest cancer worldwide for many decades. Fortunately, great progress has been made with screening, new surgical approaches, and treatments. Stage I and II lung cancer can be treated with either surgery and radio surgery. Stage III lung cancer typically required multi-modality therapy consisting of chemotherapy, radiation, and/or surgery. Biologic therapies and chemotherapies are the mainstay of treatment for Stage IV lung cancer.
At EJGH Radiation Oncology, we have a strong lung radio surgery program and have been treating Stage I and II lung cancer with curative intent for over a decade.
We work with very strong thoracic surgeons who have a busy, high-volume practice using minimally-invasive thoracic surgery. Our pulmonology group works with the majority of their patients to help them maintain their lung health and quality of life.
